Hello fellow officials,
One Interpretation, One Rule, One Mechanic… ONE ASSOCIATION! In order for us to all work together as a team, we need to have the same understanding and practice the same techniques. Whether we are referring to national rules, state protocols, or our association’s practices, it is always better when we put our heads together.
At our regular season meetings, we will go over updates for our members and share the scenarios and questions that arise each week. Even if there is nothing new “hitting the fan” so to speak, we will include reminders to keep your rules knowledge fresh and continual.
UNIFORM:
- The officials uniform shall be:
- An all-white, short-sleeved collared polo shirt
- Black slacks
- Solid black athletic shoes and black socks.
OFFICIAL'S EQUIPMENT SHALL INCLUDE:
- For the first referee, a whistle, a set of yellow and red cards, a coin and a watch.
- For the second referee, a whistle, lineup “card,” a pen/pencil, a set of yellow and red cards, a coin and a watch.
- For line judges, nothing additional needed
- All Officials must wear their OSAA patch
